Overath/Karlsruhe, May 2024 - Trainers have already developed a variety of methods for both onsite and live online training and feel comfortable in "both worlds". However, hybrid training and workshops are viewed as the new standard. This presents everyone involved with novel challenges in terms of communication, interaction, technology, tools, and motivation. The presentation "Turning 2 into 1 - Designing Hybrid Learning Worlds" will deal with the central question of how to create a learning world in which both online and face-to-face participants feel integrated and goals are achieved communally.

Video games show the way: Through immersive experiences, they captivate players and allow them to immerse themselves in topics and content. Digital escape rooms offer such a learning solution with an immersive learning experience. Toward this goal, the EduPLEx_API project combines AI approaches for improved personalization with the development of a more powerful API for networking platforms. Osnabrück (GER), May 2023 - The vision of the Smart Enterprise Engineering Research Department of the DFKI - the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence - is leveraging the potentials of the comprehensive provision of information. The approach is, by combining the perspectives of business informatics and artificial intelligence, to take advantage of competitive advantages, especially for medium-sized businesses, through the support and (partial) automation of complex tasks. Dr. Jan Beinke and Thorsten Krause will discuss the concept that "a good learning sequence lives from its didactic value" at the LEARNTEC Convention on 24 May at 15:30. The issue they will address is how didactic requirements can be implemented in automatically generated learning sequences.
