Learning Technologies Awards 2016

London (UK), November 2016 - The Learning Technologies Awards has published its shortlist for its upcoming 2016 awards programme, with 200 individual organisations from across the world represented in eighteen awards categories. The winners of the Learning Technologies 2016 Awards will be announced during the Gala Evening at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, 30 November.

Outstanding projects and products from more than fifteen countries are among those that made the shortlist for the 2016 Learning Technologies Awards.

Entries were received from a huge range of sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, transport, utilities, retail, leisure, and communications, as well as national and international government, major public and membership bodies, and leading international education brands.

"We'd like to thank the learning community, which again embraced the annual awards programme with all of the energy and excitement we've come to expect. Hundreds of learning businesses of all shapes and sizes entered this year's programme, and I'd like to congratulate all of those who have reached the shortlist," explained, Learning Technologies Awards event organiser, Mark Penton.

"Our independent judging panel, made up of over forty experts and organised by the eLearning Network, worked tirelessly throughout August to produce a truly impressive list. Shortlisted nominees now face the judging panel again in a series of presentations, taking place in London and online, later on in September and early October.  The winners will be unveiled at the gala evening on 30 November."

7.         Best use of learning technologies to ensure compliance
8.         Most innovative new learning technologies product - UK
9.         Most innovative new learning technologies product - international
10.       Best learning game
11.       Best use of simulations or virtual environments for learning
12.       Best online distance-learning programme
13.       Best blended-learning project - commercial sector
14.       Best blended-learning project - public and non-profit sector
15.       Best enterprise-learning platform implementation
16.       Learning-technologies designer of the year
17.       Learning-technologies team of the year
18.       Learning-technologies supplier of the year
