London (UK) / New York (USA), September 2019 - In October, CloserStill Media and Elliott Masie return for another major event. At "Learning 2019", CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta is confirmed as a featured keynote speaker.

In 2018, CloserStill Media had the honor of taking ownership of the well known "Learning" conference series, which they consider to be one of the most respected and highest-quality meetings of its type in the USA. Drawing around 2,000 delegates and participation of over 40 sponsors from the technology and learning sectors, it is hugely beneficial to anyone in the learning sector and will provide the opportunity for individual or business growth, as well as a chance to network with the thousands of peers in attendance.

Learning 2019 is organized by multi award winning event organizers CloserStill, who have more than 30 years’ experience in the learning and higher education field and have a proven track record of delivering outstanding conferences that support the learning community in every possible way.

As the event’s creator, Elliott Masie remains its advisor, and he commented, "For nearly 30 years, it has been my privilege, as Learning's host, producer, and curator, to gather industry leaders together to engage about the field of workplace learning. I am now excited to shift to Advisor for Learning 2019, as new owners CloserStill Media pick up the event producer and organizer role. I am looking forward to leading an exciting, thought-provoking, and highly interactive keynote session on Monday morning at Learning 2019, as well as gathering a meeting of the Learning CONSORTIUM. I hope you will join me."

His thoughts were echoed by Mark Penton, Managing Director, Learning Portfolio at CloserStill Media, who added, "We are absolutely delighted to have added the Learning event at Disney's Coronado Springs to CloserStill's growing global portfolio of workplace learning exhibitions, conferences and communities. The event is incredibly unique, and we look forward to working with its founder Elliott Masie to take it to the next stage."

Masie will return as keynote speaker, along with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and author Lindsay Pollak, for this year's conference, with many more to be announced at the end of summer.
