Totara: Measures for Dealing with COVID-19 Pandemic

Richard Wyles, CEO TotaraLondon (UK), March 2020 - In light of the ever-evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Totara is taking several measures to ensure the welfare of staff and ensure business continuity for Totara partners and customers.

The global COVID-19 situation is proving challenging for businesses and individuals. Governments worldwide are implementing a range of measures to minimise the impact of the virus, sustain economies, and keep people safe.

Totara already has limited physical contact with our customers and partners and will be switching to virtual-only communications until further notice.

Richard Wyles, CEO at Totara, said, "As a company, we have always been set up to support effective virtual team working, and this will continue. We are a strong global team, and effective immediately, all Totara employees will be working from home. We are well equipped to do this, and there should be no disruption to our business-as-usual activities.

However, we recognise that the situation may be different for our customers and partners. If you will also be working from home, we have put together a blog post outlining how you can stay productive when working (and learning) remotely, which also contains details of partner resources to help you protect yourself and your team from coronavirus."

Additionally, several Totara partners have already launched resources around COVID-19, infection control, and hand hygiene.

Learning professionals are also encouraged to communicate, collaborate and seek support via the Totara Community forums. This is a space for everyone to stay connected with their industry peers, access free training courses in the Totara Academy and reach out to the Totara team.

Richard added: "Please rest assured that we are taking this situation very seriously, and we are doing everything in our control to both protect our employees and minimise business disruption. If you have any issues or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your partner or the Totara team, and we hope you stay safe and well during these challenging times."
