Learn STEM Online Conference

Harleen (NL), May 2020 - The "Learn STEM: Innovative pedagogy for STEM education" conference was an unexpected and incredible success: More than 700 teachers and headmasters from five continents registered to join online on 29 April 2020.

The coordinator of the European initiative Learn STEM, Dr. Christian M. Stracke, is excited: "We are happy about the amazing interest in innovative STEM learning and in our pedagogical model and free tools". Twenty-two international experts from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) presented the latest developments in STEM education from scientific research to practical experiences.

A record of the entire Learn STEM Online Conference is available online. Everybody who was not able to participate or wants to revisit the online conference can enjoy the full programme and download all presentations. The event was also recorded, and the video of the full programme can also be seen online.

The gathering included speakers from the Open University of the Netherlands (Learn STEM), the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), the European Schoolnet (Scientix), the University of Twente (Go-Labz), and the European Commission (National Agency Erasmus+ NL), as well as teachers from all European regions.
