Annual MEDEA Awards Open for Entries

Brussels (BE), July 2015 - The organisers of the annual MEDEA Awards have launched the 2016 edition of the awards with the announcement of several new prizes and a reminder of the deadline for submissions, which is 30 November 2015.

The aim of this annual competition, now entering its eighth year, is to encourage innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education. The awards also recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources. Finalists will be invited to take part in the Media & Learning Conference taking place in Brussels, 10-11 March 2016, during which the MEDEA Awards Ceremony will take place.

This awards scheme continues to grow in recognition and quality, and this year the organisers are delighted to announce several new prizes. The MEDEA Awards 2016 includes two main awards and five additional prize categories.

The submission forms are available in English, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Spanish and need to be completed in one of these languages; the educational media submitted can be in any language.
