For Europe

Open Education Teachers Contest

Brussels (BE), October 2015 - Excellence in education requires a constant drive and passion for improvement - and professional development. Sharing is the heart of education. The Open Education Europa Teachers Contest targets European teachers and educators in primary, secondary, and higher education, vocational training, and adult learning who teach in an innovative way or aim to achieve greater openness or inclusion in the classroom.

All contest participants are encouraged to join the European Education Pioneers Community. Post a short blog to introduce yourself and inform the community about your practice and the lessons learned. We are looking forward to meeting you online and learning about your successful practices!

How to take part

To participate in the contest, all you need to do is electronically submit information about a "Good Practice" you were personally involved in until 31 October 2015. A Good Practice is an action, initiative, or experience that enhanced learning by applying innovation or openness or led to the inclusion of diverse people.

The Prize

The winning Good Practice author will win a trip to one of the most innovative schools in Europe. The winner will be also invited for an interview on her/his practice. The interview will be showcased on Open Education Europa.

Each educator who successfully contributes a good teaching practice will receive the Open Education Europa Pioneer Badge.
