| Longstanding Tradition | PRINT | | Tenth IEEE International Conference |
 Sousse (TN), March 2010 - The tenth IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT2010) will be held in Sousse, Tunisia, a city with rich culture and a longstanding tradition in computer-based learning on 05-07 July 2010. The technical program will feature keynote address, workshops, and tutorials in addition to presentations of refereed papers.
ICALT is an annual international conference on Advanced Learning Technologies and Technology-enhanced Learning organized by the IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technology. General Chairs of the tenth edition are Mohamed Jemni, University of Tunis, Tunisia and Demetrios Sampson, University of Piraeus & CERTH, Greece.
The following workshop proposals have already been accepted:
- Advanced Learning Technologies for Disabled and Non-Disabled People (WALTD), with James Ohene-Djan, Emma Bradbur, Marion Hersh
- Best Practices in Outcome-based Online Learning – towards Models and Development for new Learning Technologies, with Tore Hoel, Jad Najjar, Michael Derntl, Raquel M. Crespo, Carlos Delgado Kloos
- Design Centered and Personalized Learning in Liquid and Ubiquitous Learning Places (DULP) - Future Visions and Practical Implementations, with Carlo Giovannella, Sabine Graf
- Exploring design practices and methods for novel learning technologies, with Chiara Rossitto, Daniel Spikol, Monica Divitini, Teresa Cerratto-Pargman
- The Trend and Development of Game-and-Toy-Enhanced Learning, with Ming-Puu Chen, Ben Chang
