More Growth

Strengthening Support for Australian Organisations

Melbourne (AU) / Saarbruecken (GER), April 2014 - IMC, a European learning-technology provider, have taken a number of initiatives this year to further strengthen their commitment to the Australian market and provide local organisations with a leading advantage when it comes to solutions. The company has seen their customer base grow steadily in Australia since their arrival three years ago and has recently expanded their local operations. Services now include dedicated local support, training, implementation, solution design, and consultancy.

Last month, the Australian team was expanded. Several passionate and highly skilled new members were added, and their specific role is to support customers Down Under.

Hayley Steer joins IMC as a learning-solutions consultant. A member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD), Hayley is an experienced learning and development professional with a passion for engaging content and creating a seamless user experience. She was recognized as one of the "30 Under 30" new thought leaders at Eliot Masie’s Learning 2013 in the Learning & Development category and travelled to the US to take part in the program. Hayley says, "I’m excited about moving to IMC, and can see real potential for the solutions we offer to make a true impact to learning in Australia and New Zealand".

Australian customers can now benefit from IMC’s fifteen years of experience, highly flexible and configurable solutions, and best-of-breed user support, whether it be on the web or mobile, when choosing a learning management system. Further showing their commitment to the Australian market, IMC have invested in building AVETMISS data-capture and reporting abilities organically into the system processes for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to painlessly do their necessary reporting to government for accredited trainings.

Other new team members are Kevin Brabazon and Rebecca Hosking. Kevin previously worked in web solutions, providing comprehensive client- engagement options to the Australian education sector. With prior exposure to digital learning and experience in the education sector, Kevin is enthusiastic about his new role at IMC, and says he feels lucky to be part of a company with such a "powerful portfolio and history".

Rebecca comes from a varied background in client management, education, marketing, and promotion. Passionate about working with people and finding solutions, Rebecca says she is thrilled to be part of a leading global learning organisation that has such an innovative range of internet-enabled technologies.

IMC offers its solutions "in the cloud" along with software-as-a-service options that are hosted in secure Australian data centres. This guarantees maximum performance, scalability, and complete cost control, while ensuring that no data leaves Australia’s shores.

Regional Director, Russell Donders says, "it’s really an exciting time at IMC, both internationally and here in Australia. We are currently going through a wave of major innovations with our products. It is extremely satisfying to help Australian organisations stay ahead of the game when it comes to learning and developing their people".

The team expects more growth in the coming months, with at least one more member set to join the Australian IMC office in April.
