New Version of IMC Process-Guidance Suite Now Available

Saarbruecken (GER), September 2014 - Electronic performance support, micro-learning, informal learning, all of these words are associated with performance support and illustrate the increasing demand for IT solutions in this area. Business Process Guidance includes these concepts and provides a solution for decision makers looking to guide their users through complex business processes and IT landscapes in a context-sensitive, application-specific and role-specific way. IMC has now upgraded its performance-support software to offer exactly this service.

The latest version of the IMC Process Guidance Suite focusses above all on new advanced features that make it possible to consistently lead employees, based on their role-specific tasks and objectives through the business processes to be performed.

Step-by-step Navigation

Users access the company-specific processes via a process catalogue. In this catalogue, business processes can be represented as a function of the specific role and expertise, so that employees can choose the process control relevant to their needs. To ensure that software systems are operated correctly and processes are carried out efficiently, step-by-step navigation within the system guides the employee in a context-sensitive way through the tasks and applications to be performed.

Optimised UX

Specific business processes and support can now be easily added to the software. In just a few clicks, the processes can be created and displayed for use via the content-creation component "designer" in the IMC Process Guidance Suite. The new version also comes with a completely revised structure based on the look and feel of Microsoft Office 2013. The new authoring component in particular offers intuitive operation and quick orientation.

Smart Copy and Paste

The innovative Smart Copy and Paste feature helps when filling out forms. It is now possible to copy data from anywhere and then paste the contents in a way that is context appropriate, i.e. information copied from long texts can be filtered quickly and automatically entered into the corresponding fields on the form. The recognition of a German federal state by the postcode and the automatic conversion of an account number into an IBAN, for example, are now also easily possible.
