Total Learning

Brightwave Releases tessello 3.0

Brighton (UK), December 2014 - Next-generation learning agency Brightwave has released a significant update to its total learning system tessello. Harnessing xAPI technology, tessello's latest release includes new features such as structured learning pathways and event-booking modules, making the system one of the first on the market to combine formal learning with social, coaching, and collaborative tools.

The cutting-edge features have been developed with a “total-learning” approach in mind, delivering high levels of engagement from learners, while providing organisations with the insight and tools needed to deliver truly effective learning.

tessello clients - including 3M, Tesco Bank, and thomsonlocal, who are using the system for a range of different learning needs, from induction and sales to management training - have welcomed the new release. They are a number of forward-thinking organisations who are leading the shift in workplace learning among L&D professionals; in particular, how community management and a focus on engagement are transforming learning cultures.

Caroline Walmsley, Managing Director of Brightwave, said, "Our clients are thinking more about how informal learning, relationships, and performance support can be enabled for the benefit of their learners and organisation. tessello meets these needs by powering the combination of formal and informal learning with community management and collaborative tools to deliver a personalised total-learning experience that delivers real value to the organisation."

To coincide with the launch of tessello version 3.0, Brightwave hosted an exclusive event in London on 26 November for over seventy delegates. The event explored the concept of total learning and considered how the trends shaping the future of work beyond the world of learning will impact how learners behave in the future.

Speakers included Tesco Bank's Dave Buglass, recently awarded Training Journal's L&D Professional of the Year, and Monica Hirst, UNISON's Strategic Organising Planner. Both demonstrated how they are using tessello to create powerful learning communities.

From community management and the trends impacting the workplace of tomorrow to building a learning brand and the future of L&D, the event inspired and challenged the audience in equal measure.

Resources and video content from the event are to be shared in due course. Personalised demos of tessello version 3.0 are available upon request.
