Jenison Releases Windows 10 Digital Learning Resources

Southampton (UK), August 2015 - In light of the release of Microsoft's Windows 10, Jenison has announced a new suite of interactive digital learning resources to give users the know-how to make the most out of Windows 10. Coming to both PC and tablet, Jenison's five bespoke IT Skills: Windows 10 courses will help all learners get to grips with the new and improved features of Windows 10.

What's new in Windows 10?

Windows 10 boasts a range of new and improved features that make the OS feel personal, flexible, productive, and familiar. The three most notable are the return of the Start menu, the new web browser, Edge, and the introduction of Cortana to the desktop.

The Start menu is back, with the familiar look of Windows 7 but the flexible feel of Windows 8. The "Navigating the Start Menu" course takes you through the changes and new features in the Start menu, making navigating around Windows 10 easy.

Edge, Microsoft’s latest streamlined browser, has new features that allow you to make browsing the internet personal. The "Introducing Microsoft Edge" course takes you through opening a browser window, accessing the Hub, and using the Web Notes.

Microsoft has also introduced a desktop version of Cortana, an online assistant. For those wanting to learn how to get the most out of Cortana, the "Meet Cortana" course equips users with the expertise to set reminders, personalise recommendations, open applications, and carry out web searches using Edge, and customise the information Cortana has access to, to make using the online assistant even more productive.

Making relevant and current digital learning resources is what Jenison does. The company is proud to announce the release of its brand-new IT Skills: Windows 10 range. The package is made up of five courses:
