IMC Provider for US Agencies

Saarbrücken (GER), February 2016 - In December 2015, the U.S. government's General Services Administration (GSA) added the IMC learning-management system to its list of approved products. Consequently, U.S. government agencies can now acquire the system.

The GSA is an independent United States federal government agency that assumes administrative tasks and ensures a broad range of products and services are available for the benefit of other U.S. government bodies. Additionally, the GSA continuously develops strategies to maintain and improve cost efficiencies. In order to achieve maximum cost transparency, the GSA compiles detailed trader directories that list approved providers’ product and service portfolios, including pricing. U.S. government agencies are required by law to obtain a large share of their products and services from companies that are included in the GSA provider directory.

As a result of its inclusion in the GSA directory, IMC now provides public-sector customers in the U.S. with a binding guarantee that its Learning Suite and incorporated services will be available to them at the best possible price for a fixed time period.

"The contract with the GSA provides fast access to products and services for clients in administration. The GSA product listing significantly reduces the acquisition period and increases efficiency in procurement for federal agencies and other potential customers of the products and services in question," explains Ken Gellerman, Vice President and Government Contract Administrator at Enterprise Training Solutions, a U.S. eLearning provider. "Pricing for products and services has been agreed in advance, so the customers can be sure the agreed prices are fair and justified," adds Christian Wachter, spokesman of the board at IMC.

As IMC’s partner, Enterprise Training Solutions distributes the IMC Learning Suite to public-sector customers in the U.S. market. IMC is proud to have achieved the GSA listing, which marks an essential milestone in providing its services to the U.S. public sector and administration.
