Mobile Learning and Wearable Training
Berlin / Florence, December 2005 – At ONLINE EDUCA Berlin, Italian elearning technology provider Giunti Interactive Labs presented the new release three of its Learning Content Management platform learn eXact. The new eSkills, ePortfolio, Mobile Learning and Wearable Training Management modules add significant value towards higher learning content personalisation.

"Mobile and wearable technologies offer different paradigms for learning. They allow learning to be a continual process rather than a single event by offering the answers to the questions arising at work or in leisure time. In addition, they enable assessing users' needs and skills and high customisation of remediation at a level not reached by traditional learning contents", said Fabrizio Cardinali, CEO of Giunti Interactive Labs.

The new eXact Portfolio and eXact Skills management layers provide the tools for selecting and customising content banks relevant to the user experience and interests. The eXact Mobile learning module ensures the delivery and tracking of learning content and assessment directly in the field, ideal for educational field-based sales force, industrial maintainers, medical operators, and mobile workers.

Developed in outstanding EU research and development projects such as MOBIlearn, Wearit@work and iTutor, eXact Mobile is the first professional Mobile Learning and Wearable Training Content Management Solution for creating, managing, and delivering SCORM content to market-leading mobile devices and wearable computers, such as Windows Mobile Smartphones, Blackberry Mailers, and Xybernaut Pen and Wearable Computers.
