Eurocontrol Selects Eedo ForceTen LCMS
Rijswijk (NL), March 2008 - Eedo recently announced that Eurocontrol, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, has selected Eedo ForceTen™ learning content management system (LCMS) for the development and delivery of eLearning services for the Air Traffic Control and Air Traffic Management staff in its 41 member states.

The initiative is part of Eurocontrol’s programme to improve the quality and timeliness of training material while meeting regulatory requirements. ForceTen will help Eurocontrol’s 4000-plus learners from both the civil and military sectors improve their high level of knowledge of safety requirements for air navigation.

"Eurocontrol believes that training content is a main factor in influencing knowledge transfer within an organisation", says Max Bezzina, eLearning Activities Team Leader at Eurocontrol. "Eedo ForceTen LCMS will help formalise relationships with our various content-development providers and subject-matter experts to establish global collaboration and coordination.

In doing so, it will improve the lifecycle management of our content and the overall quality of content produced, standardise content development, ensure consistency in look and feel, speed up delivery of new content, and ensure SCORM compliancy."

"We feel that eLearning and knowledge transfer in the field of air-traffic management are valuable resources that allow our stakeholders to take part in a uniform and high-performance European ATM System", adds Mr. Bezzina.

ForceTen is one of several products that comprise the Eedo knowledge and learning suite
