| TrainerBase | PRINT | | Sector Specific Tender Opportunities |
Llandysul (UK), April 2008 – TrainerBase, the Association for Learning Practitioners, is being increasingly used by purchasers to find specialist trainers with sector and technical skills.
TrainerBase has always been known for helping purchasers of training find suitable trainers, using the opportunities (tenders) facility. Peter Mayes, founder and chief executive is finding that there are a growing number postings with specialist requirements and different sector skills expertise.
Recently, a number of opportunities were posted for expertise within the hospitality sector for a training company that runs a wide range of specialist programmes on event management.
"This is quite an encouraging addition to the normal range of tenders for help on management development, finance and accounting, and sales courses that get posted on a regular basis", commented Peter Mayes.
The TrainerBase web site, which gets upwards of 50,000 visitors a month, is gaining in popularity as a freely searchable database of over 3,000 training providers. The increasing number of searches that takes place on the site is another indicator that the site is a perfect place for trainers.
