New 'Positive Thinking' in an Economic Downturn
London (UK), January 2010 - 'Make sure you remain positive in this economic downturn'. This is the message from Dominic Sharpe (MD) of Digital Training Videos (DTV Ltd) on the launch of the new DTV video series, released in collaboration with Dorling Kindersley's Essential Managers pocket book series.

The first in this new video series, 'Positive Thinking', heralds a new way of enjoying the best-selling book series. Each volume comprises four fifteen-minute learning videos presented by Jim Steele, a charismatic motivational speaker in the business world. Jim brings a new dimension to Positive Thinking, discussing techniques that you can learn to stay positive.

Tom Hall, DK Global Head of Licensing says, "We are delighted to be working with DTV on this video series, which provides a great new partnership and platform for DK. The combination of DTV's extensive experience in the world of learning videos coupled with DK's trusted business content will really bring the Essential Managers series to life in a new and exciting way".

In today's challenging world, it is vital to have energy, enthusiasm, and optimism. The Positive Thinking videos help to create worthwhile relationships and perform more successfully in business. They show how to rethink negative beliefs, optimise self-esteem, and learn new mental and emotional strategies for affirmative, effective thinking.

The Essential Managers series has sold more than 5.9 million copies worldwide. Experienced and novice managers alike can now benefit from these compact guides on video. The video topics are relevant to every work environment, from large corporations to small businesses.
