International Contact at Moodlerooms

Brussels (BE), May 2011 - Moodlerooms has introduced Bas ten Holter, the new Executive Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Moodlerooms, Inc. Currently based in Brussels, he has been working in the education industry for over fifteen years.




Bas ten Holter began his career at PeopleSoft, where he introduced the Student Administration System to Europe and moved on to become the first regional director outside of North America at Blackboard. He also drove the EMEA Education Strategy for Microsoft, began his own ePortfolio company, and most recently worked at EQUELLA.

He has assisted numerous educational institutions around the region with their strategy and subsequent deployment of both administrative and academic applications, focused on improving the bottom line, student experience, and educational outcomes.
