OEB GLOBAL 2017 Pre-Conference Workshops Announced

Berlin (GER), August 2017 - Fresh details of this year’s much-anticipated OEB Global conference have been released, with the pre-conference workshops now available to view online. The workshops will be held on 06 December ahead of the launch of Europe’s largest cross-sector conference for the global learning-and-technology community. OEB Global will run in Berlin 06-08 December and will gather over 2,300 people from close to 100 countries all under one roof to discuss the future of education.

"Under the banner 'Learning Uncertainty', this year's conference will help participants get to grips with the ever-changing landscape of technology and learning," said Rebecca Stromeyer, CEO of ICWE, the company that organises the epic conference. "The workshops have been meticulously planned to meet the needs of those working in this sector. They will bring learning and technology developments to the forefront and give new insights into opportunities and challenges that are changing this arena. They are the perfect precursor to OEB Global 2017, which is shaping up to be the best event yet. It is an absolute must for anyone working in digital learning."

Workshops include the Design Thinking Taster session. Here, participants will get a clearer idea of what design thinking entails and how it can support professional activities. The workshop entitled Transform Yourself: How Vertical Development Helps You Thrive in a VUCA World will uncover life logics in a "from here to there" developmental perspective. The Engine of Innovation Story event will highlight disruptive views on innovative organisations, management of agile teams, and personal development. The gathering called Changing World of Work: Identities and their Transformation will identify transformation skills, peer coaching, labour-market information, narrative techniques, and more. The Speexx Exchange Reality Check workshop will focus on modernising learning and getting "the edge" in business. All events offer an exclusive opportunity to network with senior HR and L&D peers with a range of industry backgrounds from all over the world.

OEB Global 2017 will be a hive of activity around learning and technology developments. The 2,300+ international learning professionals from around 100 countries in attendance will obtain novel insights into opportunities and challenges changing the world of learning; see latest best practice from leading organisations; and meet, discuss, and network with policy makers, higher-education leaders, chief learning officers, technology and learning experts, learning-and-development professionals, change managers, ICT administrators, online-learning curriculum designers, and practitioners from numerous other fields.

There will be more than 80 exhibitors, ranging from established global eLearning market leaders to emerging edtech startups, as well as 100+ sessions in various formats. OEB is an opportunity to discover new opportunities for cross-border and cross-sectoral collaboration.
